So apparently I need to grow up now and actually apply somewhere to continue my post secondary studies. Part of me is pretty excited but another part is anxious to what is to come, especially considering I'll more than likely be on my own somewhere overseas (probably Canada, since thats the only place I've applied to thus far
).
Anyway, I'm thinking of studying something to do with art (illustration in particular) so I can do what I love and eventually make a living off of it. Parents weren't too keen on the idea, and frankly I don't blame them; artists often aren't the ones you see leading financially stable lives. Nevertheless, they've been supportive as of late and want me to go with what I'll be happy doing.
So far, I've applied to the following institutions:
Alberta College of Art and Design - Calgary, Alberta, Canada
1st Year Studies (hopefully Visual Communication Design in time.)
Ontario College of Art and Design - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
1st Year Studies (Illustration and Graphic Design)
York University - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Design Program
Concordia University - Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Design and Computation Arts
If anyone has any experiences with any of the institutions above or the courses mentioned, please do tell, I'd like to hear about your experiences: good or bad!
Thats it for now, I'm beat.
Goodnight.
